study for potential backgrounds and falling figures. they're digital here, but the actual pieces may have the letters hand drawn with ebony pencil or regular soft graphite. the edges of the 'cut-out' headlines would also use minor hatching to create texture and separate the different 'clipping.' could also use some desaturation of the color,it may be too grey/green right now. actual falling figures would also probably be drawn wearing business suits, directional tie flapping could also help place the figures as falling ones.
